View Once Message means the message contents will disappear after the recipient has opened once. View once messages support text, voice notes, photos and videos.

How to send a “View Once Message”?

1. Go to individual/ group chat
2. When you are ready to send text/ photos/ videos/ voice notes, long tap the Send icon
3. Select View Once Message
4. Tap “Send”

The message sent can no longer be seen by you after it is sent.
Once the view once message is sent successfully, the following will be shown according to the message types you sent.



How to open a “View Once Message” received?
When you have received view once messages, the followings will be shown according to the message types you received.

1. Tap the message bubble to view the View Once Message in full screen
2. Tap “x” (iOS) / Tap “←” (Android) to close the full screen after viewing the message.
3. After the message is viewed, the following will be shown according to the message types you received.

Points to note for View Once Message

1. Photos and videos will not be stored in the device's gallery for “View Once Message” even if the Auto Download settings are set to be “on”.
2. Taking a screenshot of the “View Once Message” is not allowed.
3. For group chats, View Once Message is not supportable for sharing chat histories.
4. You cannot forward View Once Messages.
5. View once messages can be restored from backups if the message is not opened at the time of back up. If messages were opened, they will not be included in the backup and cannot be restored.
